Interior design and building work under one roof
The weak point of many interior design projects isn’t the design: it’s the gap between whoever draws it and whoever builds it. That’s where details get lost, costs creep up and you hear the classic «the designer didn’t allow for that». Our approach is different: the project and the building work come from the same team, so every design decision is made knowing how it gets built and what it costs. If something has to be adjusted along the way (a wall we weren’t expecting, a material that’s out of stock), it gets resolved on site and with judgement, without crossed phone calls or blurred responsibility. Design with its feet on the site: that’s how we see it.
From the plans to the finishing touches
What our interior design service includes
Every project fits the case: you might need the full package or just some of these pieces.
Studying the space and the layout
We look at how you live and propose the layout that makes the most of your square metres, your light and which way the place faces.
Materials, finishes and palette
We choose floors, wall finishes, colours and textures that work together and with your budget, with real samples.
Lighting design
We design light in layers: general, task and ambient. It's what changes a space most and what tends to get planned least.
Joinery and made-to-measure furniture
Wardrobes, dressing rooms, living room units and bespoke solutions for the corners where off-the-shelf furniture won't do.
Carrying out the work
Our own team builds the project: building work, wiring and plumbing, painting and fitting, with one person responsible.
Styling and finishing touches
We finish the project with textiles, accessories and that final layer that turns a renovation into a home with character.
Design studio or a firm that builds too?
Both set-ups can give excellent results; the difference is in how the project is organised and who answers for what. Here's the honest comparison.
A signature practice; the building work is contracted separately.
- Who builds it An outside contractor you choose or are recommended.
- Coordination Designer and builder coordinate across two different companies.
- Responsibility Split: the design on one side, the execution on the other.
- Budget Two contracts: design fees and the cost of the work.
- When it suits If you're after a particular practice and already have a builder you trust.
Design and construction from the same team.
- Who builds it The same team that designed the project.
- Coordination In-house and daily: the design gets adjusted on site in real time.
- Responsibility Single: one point of contact answers for the whole result.
- Budget Just one, fixed and itemised, design and build included.
- When it suits If you want what's drawn to be built exactly as drawn, with no surprises.
Not sure which set-up fits you? Tell us about your project and we'll give you an honest answer, at no obligation.
Not a luxury, an investment
When is an interior designer worth it?
There are moments when interior design pays for itself. When you’re taking on a full renovation, because deciding the layout on paper avoids mistakes that later cost building work. When you’ve just bought a flat, because that’s the moment to adapt it to your life before you move in. When you’re getting a property ready to let or sell, because a well-resolved space lets faster and negotiates better. And in commercial premises and offices, where design is straightforwardly a business tool. If your case looks like any of these, the first visit will clear up a great deal; and it costs nothing.
A quote made for you
How much does an interior design project cost?
Every project is tailored, so the price depends on what it covers. This is what matters most:
The scope of the brief
Square metres and rooms
The level of detail
The starting point
That’s why we don’t publish fixed rates: we’d rather hear about your project before giving a figure. Write or call us and we’ll arrange a first visit at no obligation, with a detailed quote broken down line by line, free of charge.
How an interior design project runs
A good project starts by listening and ends with the house dressed. This is how we work from start to finish.
Listening to you
We visit the space and talk about how you live, what you like and what doesn't work today. That's where the brief comes from. No obligation and no cost.
Proposal and quote
We set out the approach to the project and a clear, itemised quote, with whatever scope you decide: design only or turnkey.
Design in detail
We settle layout, materials, lighting and furniture with real samples, and agree every decision together before touching a single wall.
Building work and dressed handover
Our team builds the project and we finish it off with the styling, handing you the space ready to live in.
Frequently asked questions about interior design
Here are the questions we get asked most before starting a project. If you still have one, write to us and we’ll help, at no obligation.
The market works in very different ways: per square metre, as a fixed project fee or as a percentage of the building work, and the figures vary enormously with the scope and the level of detail. We don’t publish fixed rates: we listen to your project on a first visit at no obligation and give you a clear, itemised quote, design and building work included if you want it all with us.
They translate how you live (or how you want to live) into a specific space: layout, materials, lighting, furniture and styling, resolving the look and the practicalities at the same time. A good interior design project shows less in the photos and more in daily life: sockets where you need them, light where you work and room where you live.
A decorator works with what’s already there: colours, textiles, furniture and accessories. An interior designer comes in earlier and goes deeper: rethinking the layout, the materials and the services, and their work usually involves building work. They’re complementary, and on our projects we cover both: from the partition wall to the cushion.
When there’s a renovation involved, almost always: the expensive decisions (layout, services, joinery) are taken once and shape the home for years. An interior designer avoids the mistakes that cost most to put right and gets more out of metres you’ve already paid for. On small projects, we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s worth it or not.
Both, and that’s our difference: the project and the building work come from the same team, with a single quote and a single person responsible. If you already have a builder and only need the design, we can help with that too; we’ll set it out on the first visit.
Yes. We take on interior design projects across the whole province of Alicante: Elche, Benidorm, Dénia, Jávea, Alcoy, Elda, Orihuela and the surrounding area. Tell us where your property or premises are and we’ll arrange the first visit.
Of course, and it’s usually a good idea: homes with character mix the new with pieces that have been with you a while. In the project we’ll tell you what’s worth keeping, what can be restored or reupholstered and what’s better replaced, without any dogma.
The design stage usually takes a few weeks, depending on the scope and how many times we go round the proposal together. If the project includes building work, the overall timescale depends on its size; we give you a realistic schedule in the quote, with start and handover dates.
