2. What data we process and where it comes from
We process the data you give us directly through the forms on the site, email or the telephone. As a general rule: name and surname, telephone number, email
address, town or address of the property and whatever information you include in your message so
that we can assess the work.
If you write to us on WhatsApp using the button on this site, we also process your telephone number, the profile name you display and the content of the messages you send us.
If you accept analytics or advertising cookies, we also process browsing data: the pages you visit, your type of device and browser, your approximate location and how you reached the site (for example, from a Google ad). See the cookie policy for details.
We do not collect special categories of data. If you send us additional information (photographs
or plans, for example), we will process it solely in order to prepare the quote.
3. Purposes and legal basis
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote. Legal basis: steps taken at the
request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR). - To arrange the assessment visit and carry out the contracted work.
Legal basis: performance of a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR). - To comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting and warranty obligations
relating to the work). Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR). - To answer your enquiry on WhatsApp. Legal basis: your express consent, given by ticking the box before opening the conversation (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.
- To measure how the website is used and how effective our ads are. Google Analytics lets us count visits in aggregate and Google Ads lets us check which ads lead to a request. If you have accepted advertising cookies and send us the form, we send Google your email address and telephone number converted into an irreversible code (SHA-256 hash): Google does not receive them in plain text and only uses them to check whether the request came from an ad. Legal basis: your consent, given when you accept analytics or advertising cookies (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time with the site’s cookie button.
- To send you commercial communications, only if you give us your express
consent. Legal basis: consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which may be withdrawn at any time.
4. Retention period
Data relating to an enquiry that does not lead to a contract is kept for one year. Customer data
is kept for the duration of the relationship and, thereafter, for the applicable statutory
limitation periods (tax, accounting and liability for the work carried out). Data processed on the
basis of your consent is kept until you withdraw it. Browsing data is kept in Google Analytics for a maximum of 14 months.
5. Recipients
We do not disclose your data to third parties, except where required by law. It may be accessed,
as processors and under a contract signed in accordance with article 28 GDPR, by the providers of
our web hosting, email and accounting and tax advisory services.
If you accept analytics or advertising cookies, Google Ireland Limited also accesses the data described above, as a processor, to provide us with web analytics (Google Analytics) and ad measurement (Google Ads), under its data processing terms.
The messaging service is provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Meta group), which does not act as our processor but as an independent controller and processes data in accordance with its own terms and privacy policy. When you write to us through that channel, the conversation also remains on your device and on WhatsApp’s infrastructure. If you would rather not use it, you can contact us through the form, by email or by telephone with the same result.
Where the work requires the involvement of trades or collaborating professionals, only the data
strictly necessary to carry out the contracted work will be passed on to them.
6. International transfers
On our side, no international data transfers are envisaged. They may occur on the WhatsApp channel, since the Meta group may process data outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards provided for in chapter V GDPR. They may also occur with Google’s services if you accept analytics or advertising cookies: Google may process data in the United States under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, recognised by the European Commission in its adequacy decision of 10 July 2023. Should any of our providers process data outside
the European Economic Area, this will be done with the appropriate safeguards provided for in
chapter V GDPR.
7. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing,
objection and portability, and withdraw any consent given, by writing to
contact@montes-renovaciones.com or to the
postal address given above, providing proof of your identity.
If you consider that the processing does not comply with the applicable rules, you may lodge a
complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
8. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security
appropriate to the risk, in accordance with article 32 GDPR.
9. Minors
The services on this site are aimed at people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data
relating to minors.

is always the one published on this page.
