POOL READY ALL YEAR
Pool maintenance in Alicante
Chemistry and method
What does pool maintenance include?
Maintaining a pool isn’t running the vacuum over it now and then: it’s keeping the water balanced week after week so it never needs rescuing. On every visit we measure and adjust the chlorine and the pH, clean the shell and the waterline, empty the baskets and check the pump is filtering the hours it should. In summer that prevents green water and stinging eyes; in winter, it stops the June start-up turning into a full drain-down. We work on chlorine and saltwater pools, community and villa alike, with a report of every visit so you know what’s been done.
What we do
What work maintenance covers
You can book it all year round or just for the season. This is what we cover in community and private pools.
Water treatment
Chlorine, pH and alkalinity measured and adjusted on every visit, product included. Balanced water is the kind that gives no scares and no smell.
Pool-shell cleaning
Floor, walls and waterline, with leaves removed and skimmer baskets cleaned. A pool that's ready to swim in, not just treated.
Pump and filters
Pump and filter checks, sand backwashing, monitoring of filtering hours and seasonal adjustment. It's where money is saved or wasted.
Saltwater pools
Checks on the electrolysis unit, the salt level and the cell. Salt needs method too, even if it means less daily work.
Season opening and closing
The June start-up and the winter shutdown or winter regime, so the start of summer isn't a building project or a drain-down.
Community pools
Maintenance of community pools as often as their use demands, coordinated with the rest of the building's maintenance.
Doing it yourself or having a contract
Plenty of pools run on supermarket chlorine and good intentions, and in August they turn. Here's the honest comparison between the two ways of running one.
Supermarket product and weekend spare time.
- The water Adjusted by eye. By the time you notice, it's already green.
- Your time Summer hours spent cleaning instead of swimming.
- The pump and filter Nobody checks them until they stop filtering or the electricity bill jumps.
- The product Bought by guesswork and stored in the garage.
- If it goes wrong An emergency rescue: days without swimming and extra cost.
Scheduled visits and the water always right.
- The water Measured and adjusted on every visit, before it causes trouble.
- Your time The pool is for swimming. We take care of the rest.
- The pump and filter Checked and adjusted by season, which is where the savings are.
- The product Included and dosed properly, no jerry cans in the garage.
- If it goes wrong A response within 24 to 48 working hours, with a report of every visit.
How we work
Scheduled visits and a report every time
The team is our own and every pool has its routine: the same technicians, an agreed calendar and a written report of what was done on each visit, with the water readings. We respond to issues within 24 to 48 working hours, we cover the whole province, and the contract has a three-month minimum. And if beyond maintaining it you’re thinking of renovating it, we also do pool renovation: tiling, coping and accessibility.

A tailored quote
How much does pool maintenance cost?
It depends on four things, and none of them is a mystery. This is what moves the fee of a pool contract.
The size of the pool
How much it's used
How often we visit
The equipment it runs
That’s why we don’t publish set rates: we’d be giving you a figure that looks nothing like your pool’s. Tell us what it’s like and we’ll send an itemised proposal, with no obligation.
How we get started with your pool
Every pool arrives in a different state, and the plan comes from seeing the shell, the water and the pump. This is how we do it.
Visit and water test
We look at the shell, test the water and check the pump and filter. That tells us what the pool needs and how often.
An itemised proposal
Frequency, tasks and fee in writing, product included. For a community, in a document to take to the meeting.
Recovery first
If the water or the filter arrive neglected, we recover the pool first. From there, maintaining is far cheaper than rescuing.
A routine of visits
The same team comes in on the agreed calendar and leaves a report of every visit. Issues are dealt with within 24 to 48 working hours.
Frequently asked questions about pool maintenance
The questions we hear most about caring for the water and the equipment. If you have another one, write to us with no obligation.
On every visit the water is measured and adjusted, the shell and waterline are cleaned, the baskets are emptied and the pump is checked. The product is included and a written report is left of what was done.
It depends on the size of the pool, its use, the visit frequency and the equipment it runs, so there’s no single figure. We see the pool and send a fixed, itemised proposal, with no obligation.
In the bathing season, a weekly visit is the norm; the rest of the year it can stretch to fortnightly or monthly with the pool in its winter regime. The plan adjusts to how each pool is actually used.
Almost always from low chlorine, unbalanced pH or too few filtering hours, and in summer one careless weekend is enough. With the water measured every week it never gets that far; if it’s already green, we recover it without draining in most cases.
Yes. We monitor the electrolysis unit, the salt level and the state of the cell. Salt cuts the daily work, but it needs method and checks too.
Yes, they’re a big part of the work. We adjust the frequency to how the pool is used and coordinate it with the rest of the community’s maintenance if we handle that too.
Usually not: it’s better to leave it in its winter regime, with the water treated and the filtering reduced. Draining a pool without need wastes water and risks damaging the structure. We assess each case.
Yes. If the pool needs more than maintenance, we do pool renovation: tiling, coping, a new pump or accessibility. Different teams, quoted separately.
